30% Tax relief for First Time Buyers (What’s the Story?) 21 February 2012
Over the last few months since the 2012 budget we have got a lot of questions about the changes that took place for home owners who bought houses between 2004 and 2008. The Revenue Commissioners have published a document containing detailed FAQs on these Budget changes, including a range of scenarios. Reminder VAT change from 1st January 2012 3 January 2012
The Value Added Tax (VAT) rate on the sales and purchases of standard goods and services in the Republic of Ireland will increase from 21% to 23% on 1 January, 2012. All Irish VAT registered businesses will need to adjust their accounting systems to reflect this change.
